Ukrainian startup Frontline attracts investment from Angel One

The fund has invested $150k through a syndication agreement in the development of defense robotics production.

Ukrainian Defense Tech startup Frontline and angel venture fund Angel One have announced an investment deal worth $150,000.

Frontline develops cutting-edge solutions for the defense sector, such as Lens bombers and Zoom reconnaissance drones, as well as Burya combat robotic systems. These technologies are actively used on the battlefield, increasing the efficiency of military operations and saving lives.

The investment from Angel One will be an important milestone for the company, allowing it to accelerate development, production, and supply more modern solutions to the frontline.

“We are grateful to Angel One for supporting our mission and believing in our solutions. This investment will help us to make even more robots that will allow our military to effectively stop the enemy from protected positions,” said Frontline CEO Yevhen Tretyak.

In 2024, Angel One Fund invested in six defense tech and dual-use tech startups through syndication deals, and Frontline became the fund’s seventh investment.

Frontline demonstrates the unique potential of Ukrainian engineering in creating innovations for defense. Our task as a foundation is to support such solutions by providing them not only with capital, but also with a network of contacts and resources for scaling,” said managing partner of Angel One Ivan Petrenko.

Frontline continues to attract investment in a $800,000 Seed round. Angel One became the second fund to announce an investment deal with the startup. This month, a deal with the European Startup Wise Guys Fund in the amount of $100,000 was also announced.
