NORDA Dynamics, a Ukrainian startup specializing in the development of UAV autonomous control technologies in conditions of electronic warfare (EW) and unstable or absent communication, has announced that it has raised $150,000 in investment from Angel One Fund. The funding was provided under a syndication agreement and is aimed at scaling the company’s key products.
“At NORDA Dynamics, we create technologies that give drones new capabilities – our autonomous systems allow us to perform complex, precise missions in warfare quickly, efficiently and safely for the operator. The investment from Angel One Fund is not only financial support, but also an opportunity to accelerate the scaling of our solutions at the front and increase their combat effectiveness in real time,” said Nazar Bigun, CEO of NORDA Dynamics.
NORDA Dynamics’ flagship product, Underdog, is a last-mile targeting system that opens up new possibilities for precision strikes when traditional guidance methods are ineffective or impossible due to EW interference or radio range limitations. The Underdog system uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to allow drones to autonomously complete the final stage of their mission. After the pilot selects a target using the drone’s camera, the drone travels the remaining distance on its own.
Another cutting-edge solution from NORDA Dynamics is StableLink, an advanced visual attitude hold system that provides altitude, azimuth and coordinate stability. This technology is crucial for repeaters and bombers, allowing them to operate with maximum accuracy in dynamic combat environments.
In 2024, Angel One Fund invested in seven defense tech and dual-use tech startups through syndication deals, and NORDA Dynamics became the fund’s eighth investment.
